First time trying Teatro and Absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, stylish, and inviting. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. Every dish exceeded our expectations. The service was just as impressive: attentive, friendly, and professional without ever feeling rushed. You can truly tell the staff are passionate about what they do and want you to have the best experience possible. Teatro is the perfect spot for a special night out or a memorable dining experience. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I’d stepped into a luxury spot in NYC. The decor is absolutely beautiful — elegant, modern, and thoughtfully designed. Even dining solo, the staff were warm and welcoming. The chef, originally from Italy, happily chatted about his dishes and answered my questions. You can truly taste the authenticity in the food. I ordered The Lombardo pizza, which was incredible, and the Torta di Ricotta e Limone, a light and bright dessert that ended the night perfectly. The bartender was also very knowledgeable and crafted some excellent cocktails and even let me try something new he was working on. A wonderful experience from start to finish. We were in a pinch for NYE reservations and Teatro had an open spot so we jumped at the opportunity. Don't let the location dissuade you, while it is tucked into a rather unusual spot the food and service were incredible. We had the risotto ossobuco and gnocchi both were phenomenal and very reasonably sized portions. The bruschetta was so-so, but the mains definitely made up for it. We also had the cannoli for dessert which was delicious. The wine menu was very good and we had a bottle from Kew vineyards, lots of great local Niagara wines available. The decor and interior inside are gorgeous! It's an absolutely lovely design inside. We will definitely be back again. ~ Zach P

Don’t let the location of this restaurant deter you. It was wonderful. Our server Kopila was a breath of fresh air. She was efficient, informative, charming and personable. I feel like customer service is a dying art- and she conducted a master class. The dining area is beautiful, although if I could make one suggestion, it would be to do something more with the centre of the room- perhaps add a long high top and some greenery. The food was great, presentation as well. Lighting, music, ambiance were excellent. Overall we very much enjoyed our meal, and I hope this restaurant makes it for the long haul. ~ Fun W

I dined with a few friends over the weekend and was pleasantly overwhelmed with the whole experience. All three of chose items from Prix Fixe menu so we could try a bit of everything. From the fresh baked focaccia, right through to the tiramisu every single bite was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly and was like cutting through butter. The scallops were cooked to perfection as was the Arctic Char. I can’t wait to return with my husband and try more items. I had my daughter’s Sweet 16 birthday party here, and everything was amazing from start to finish. The communication was excellent—they were patient, attentive, and really listened to our wants and needs. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the party room was beautiful and absolutely perfect for our event. The karaoke was a huge hit and added so much fun for our guests. I would highly recommend Teatro to anybody wanting a memorable, stress-free event with great service and atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! ~ Rosie D

My wife and I wanted something new and different so we checked out Teatro. We greeted promptly and with a smile the manager i believe Eric guided us through the menu and introduced our server Allanwho was hilarious and helpful. We were given fresh bread to start then ordered the seared scallops as an app I had the lemon chicken which was so tender and delicious while my wife had the risotto which was so flavorful. Everything was amazing Eric checked on us a couple times and was so positive and polite. He made an ordinary night out memorable and we will definitely be back!! ~ Thom S

Sunday night marked our first visit to Teatro, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — the pasta was perfectly cooked and coated in a rich, flavourful sauce, the salad was crisp and refreshingly fresh, and the desserts were truly outstanding. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, creating an inviting and elegant atmosphere. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the evening even more enjoyable. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Teatro and will most definitely be returning. ~ Robin C

This Italian restaurant delivers a truly satisfying experience with both flavor and atmosphere. The pizzas are the star—perfectly blistered crusts, light yet chewy, topped with fresh ingredients and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The appetizers are just as impressive. The ambiance and food was amazing! Our server Allan was very helpful with the menu and suggestions. They brought warm bread to start at the table, we ordered 2 caesar salads and a delicious bruchetta bread which was enough for 5 ppl. Our main courses were a riggatoni, gnocchi, pepperoni pizza and an amazing Arctic Char. Had an amazing fig Negroni. To end the meal we sampled the lemon cake, cannolis and tiramisu paired with an in house limoncello. All fresh and fabulous the owner came over and introduced himself as did the GM Arik. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Teatro. The food was delicious, the presentation and the service were exceptional. The menu had a variety of interesting selections to choose from and we certainly were not disappointed in our choices. The Caesar salad, the gnocchi dish and the spicy spaghetti with lobster were all very delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. The Tiramisu was a delightful finish to the meal. The decor is beautifully done and there is a large banquet room available for special events. ~ Linda A

We went to Teatro for New Year’s Eve and had such an amazing experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and vibrant, and the music really set the mood!!! Our server was truly incredible...so kind, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. He took the time to double check vegan options and made us feel so cared for, which always means a lot. Had an amazing experience at this Italian restaurant the food was absolutely delicious ,full of rich , authentic flavors and cooked perfectly. The pasta was fresh, the sauces were well-balanced, and every bite tasted homemade. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great place for both casual dinners and special occasions. Four of us dined at Teatro after hearing some friends and colleagues raving about the pizza, and we were not disappointed. The pizza is exquisite. Truly authentic with a heavenly crust, it is even better than pizza we tried during our last trip to Italy. I now know what all the buzz is about, this pizza is NOT to be missed. Get the Lombardo and thank me later! Everything we tried was delicious, and the Tiramisù is another must try. Service was warm and friendly, 10/10. We will be back! ~ Kit

My partner and I took in their cocktail class this week. Mitch was fantastic, explained the history of each cocktail, shared his insights on personalizing his favourite drinks, and shared his philosophy on the cocktail culture in Niagara. We sat at the bar and everything was prepared for us. There were even snacks which was unexpected! Incentives were offered to stay for dinner but we had already made other plans, well worth the time and the cocktails were awesome. ~ Cody G

Found a new favorite Italian restaurant in St.Catharines. This place really has a great menue. With plenty of good options to choose from. My Girlfriend and I webt there for a late lunch and we decided to try out 3 entrees. From the slow braised beef short ribs, to the gnocchi and of course, we had to try out their pizza. All three dishes were cooked to perfection. From the slow braised beef short ribs. Which was literally fall off the bone tender and a great size for one person. However we shared all three dishes. The gnocchi freshly hand rolled with a creamy gorgonzola sauce and the whole walnuts really was a great touch. But the highlight really was the Lombardo pizza. By far this pizza is the best in Niagara. The spicy salami, quality cheese, crushed pistachio and the drizzled honey, really all paired well with the amazing pizza dough. Taste exactly like Italy. Thank you James for being such a great host. The bottle of wine really paired well with all our dishes. We will definitely be back and will share you out to friends, family and clients. ~ VP

What a fantastic little gem in our neck of the woods! I highly recommend dining here or having an event in their dining areas. They offer a small room for smaller events, a larger venue for larger occasions. The food is fresh and delicious. We really enjoyed every bite and the portions are very generous. I’m all for supporting local and this restaurant does not disappoint! ~ Angie B

Amazing, authentic food, a diverse wine list and beautiful ambiance. Alan ensured our dining experience was smooth and unforgettable. We were greeted by the owner and the chef as well. This is a new chic Italian restaurant in St.Catharines. The decor is fresh and modern, the food and service were excellent. We had the short ribs and fried sea food entres, both were very good. We had a fantastic meal tonight. Appetizers- ceasar salad and bruschetta were both fantastic and delicious entrees- 4 cheese gnocchi and rib eye steak were outstanding. Cannoli for desert was the perfect way to finish our meal. Also loved the flight of wine that accompanied the meal perfectly. Service was so fantastic. Lovely evening. Amazing experience at Teatro this evening. The gnocchi and the pizza were outstanding. Amaretto sour was perfect and lots of great mocktails to choose from as well. We went for dinner there on January 9, 2026. We had been driving by and decided to check it out. The food was incredible! Our server Allan was awesome. He was very professional and knowledgeable of the menu. His recommendations were perfect. We will definitely be back. Cool spot to sit and enjoy a cocktail at the bar as well. ~ Brendan L

First time here and will definitely be going back. The atmosphere was great. Great place to go for date nite. Service was top notch!
